Should have read the reviews before I ordered. Someone should tell the franchise owner of this dump to pull his/her head out of their ass. Worst Pizza Hut I have ordered from. Waited over an hour and a half for a dried out overcooked cold pizza. They even brought me the wrong 2 liter soda because they "ran out of everything else". Ran out of soda on a Wednesday evening. This craphole needs an overhaul badly!
None of the employees were busy but the first available employee that made the effort and got up to see me took my order, but left to get the manager so she can take it from me again.
Waitress did the best she could and she was apologetic, but they don't know what they are doing.
This place is run by absolute morons. But, this location is on par with all other locations, especially the Podunk franchises. I had to send the driver back three times to get drinks sauces and simply food they forgot. Pizza hut dies better in more populated towns, just can't secure basically educated staff in a place like Childress...your lucky if they can even find you in Corpus however.
Do not recommend eating there. There are other options.
During this whole time, from entering until i finally left, some 20 minutes, the men's bathroom was locked and occupied by yet another employee. That was the only bathroom available. Never got to use it, and not sure I would...
Our visit took place on 8/23/17: We were very disappointed with the service. In fact there was no service to speak of. The restaurant had approximately 3 tables with customers dining in. There were three employees behind the counter and the phone was quiet most of the time we were there. Us and the other tables there pretty much served ourselves. We had to go to the counter to get our drinks, plates and silverware. The only time anyone came to our table was to take our order AFTER we got their attention. Upon paying there wasn't a soul in sight behind the counter until an employee rounded the corner, saw us and went to find someone to ring us up. The person cashing out our order even said "I'm sorry you guys didn't get the attention you deserved". I appreciate her acknowledging that fact but we'd have appreciated it more if we'd have been properly taken care of in the first place so she wouldn't have had to apologize for the sub-par service we received.
The pizza was eventually provided. It's a pizza so you can't mess that up, but the over all experience is way below average, and surpring for a pizza hut.
After taking my order, a medium pizza with garlic cream sauce, not the regular marinara sauce, I was told by another employee they only had marinara sauce left, so there wasn't really a choice to begin with.
Arrived at 8:20pm. Posted closing time on the door is 10:00pm. Staff were already turning over chairs on the tables. Atmosphere was like "oh man, why do we have a customer coming in now?" - just the way I felt.
