Food was fast... even the fish.. customer service was okay. Atmosphere behind the counter wasn't the greatest. Overall it was good. Just wanted to be more welcomed.
Went in wanting livers. They cooked them fresh. Got to going. They were so over cooked, and so hard my wife and I could not eat them. Their chicken is very good, but obviously not livers. But, the sweet tea is as good as I have found anywhere except my mom's house.
Chicken tenders are very good with gravy dipping !! Good yeast rolls ! They do need to spend more time cleaning tables in the store.
It is my favorite road trip stop for lunch. This last road trip, my credit card was declined, bank put a temporary safety hold since I forgot to notify the bank I was traveling . The staff said I could have my meal for free. Very generous. Makes this stop feel so much better. I paid with cash and the bank called shortly after to confirm the purchase and released the hold. Very uplifting to see such genuion care for other people.
