  We were passing through and stopped in for dinner on 6/16/17. It is on Main St. in an old hardware store that really accents the atmosphere. Family owned and operated and were very friendly. Customer service was second to none. Brisket, sausage, baby back ribs, beans, and choice of baked potato salad or mustard potato salad was spot on. A little pricey (What BBQ place isn't), but you wont go away hungry.

  Coming from a big city girl, my first impression of this place from the outside was a little off putting. Its in the middle of this old town type of setting and it looked closed from the outside. We almost didn't go in. I saw groups of people inside so it didn't seem so bad. I have never appreciated the saying, "Never judge a book by its cover." This is a small family owned joint that knows what they're doing with their BBQ. The owner comes in daily at 3am to start smoking the meat for the day. They are really sweet people and we're very nice to us. The food was a m a z i n g!!! I would definitely recommend anyone driving through Childress to stop by and give it a try.

  Best ribs I've ever tried. The post oak mixed with mesquite really makes for an awesome tasting bark. Wish we could get a bit more of the sides for the price. A must stop.

  Had the rib plate with coleslaw and beans. Awesome good. Cool place I used to go in here when I was a kid. And it was a hardware store. They left all the fixtures and bins. Very cool.

  Real good steak really enjoyed my lunch staff was real helpful and friendly. And the burgers are amazing. This chicken fried steak is worth the money.
